How to stir up ideas in stakeholders and units within an organization
- Go through the introduction of what the project is, and ask them to start thinking of scenarios of various features of a software that is being presented
- Try to get them interact as you introduce individual features
- Then at last... have an open-ended discussion in which you should have several slides that are 'stimulant' of ideas by looking at the data from various angles:
- Inter-departmental communication
- Documents, data that they expect to have from other people to be able to finish there tasks.
- How should people find information about their unit, e.g. Contact list, location, what they do, what is the mission statement etc.
